- Daycare struggles continued~Kelly had a horrible bout with kidney stones so a great big thank you goes out to Grandma G. for coming and spending the WHOLE week to watch the kids. Hugs and kisses to grandma. I think it was some great bonding time with Matthew however. And the good news: Kelly is ready to go for tomorrow! Yippee!
- It was back to work for all of us. Took some time getting back into the swing of things. It was wonderful to be off with Brandon and the kids for a whole week during New Years.
- Basement project continues ~ the drywall mudders were here today. They were supposed to be here on Thursday but the mud was frozen (don't ask, not sure how that happened). Friday, the head guy fell on the ice, was knocked out cold and had staples put in his head. Then yesterday I think Bob was still feeling the effects of head +ice and they didn't make it. Today we got started ~ BTW ~ crack kills! LOL
- Emma got her first report card from school. Excellent report. Smarty pants is doing so well on her sight words she gets to start 1st grade reading counts. Way to go Emma! We were so proud, we took her and Grandma out for pizza Friday night.
- I got to visit my friend Katie in the hospital to welcome baby Isabelle. She is so sweet and makes Matthew look huge! Congrats to Wade, Katie, Ethan and Aidan!

That is why I stay home... we live too far from family to have good daycare backups.
